High Desert Fencing Club (HDFC) is designed to promote Modern Olympic Fencing. We cater to competitive and recreational fencers alike. We have a superb veterans group along with a thriving junior group. We use electrical equipment for most bouting and even provide electric foil equipment with membership for use at the club.




The primary weapon at the club is foil, but our epee and sabre groups have some of the best fencers in the state. We offer group lessons, private instruction and clinics.

The atmosphere in the club is very relaxed and we do not pressure fencers to compete until they are fully prepared physically and emotionally. However, we do compete regionally and nationally as a team, so club hours of operations will accommodate this format. Please stop by and visit us to see what modern fencing is all about.
